Montage Laguna Beach Engagement Photos - Orange County Engagement Session

I know I say it every time I blog about an engagement session but I can’t help it… I LOVE ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS!!!!!

This engagement session was no exception. Since these two had such crazy schedules leading up to their big day and to top it off accepted new jobs and a big move… we weren’t able to find a date for their engagement session until about a month before their wedding day. I was so excited to finally get to meet Jennifer and Justin and I was even more excited to find out that they had chosen a beach for their engagement session. The engagement session started off a little more simple.. I try to keep in mind when shooting that about 90% of my clients have never had professional photos taken (high school yearbook doesn’t count). With this in mind my focus in the beginning is to get my couples to feel comfortable with me. This is after all supposed to be fun! :) These two warmed up quickly and close to the end of our session I asked if they would like to get in the water (please keep in mind it was September in California …… the water was absolutely FREEZING). But with smiles on their faces they said, “sure why not”?!

As I said it was freezing

But to say they were good sports about it all would be an understatement!

I think it was worth it..

Mc Donalds Engagement Session - Laguna Niguel Regional Park Engagement Photos - Orange County Engagement Session

An engagement session at McDonald’s?! I know….fun right?! I love when my couples have fun and have “original” ideas for their engagement session. We had too much fun teasing around while all the guests at McDonald’s stared….wondering what we were doing! 😂 

Our next location was beautiful and a bit of a secret spot….Laguna Niguel Regional Park. You would never know driving by on La Paz that tucked away is a stunning park with views for days. We were lucky enough to have all lush green fields for our engagement session giving us some stunning photos. Hope you enjoy some of our favorites from the day below.

Montage Laguna Beach Engagement Photos

Montage Laguna Beach never disappoints! This is one of our favorite engagement session locations. Beach engagement sessions are a must when you grow up in SoCal and your hubby to be is from Texas. These two had so much fun…they even did a rendition of the famous lift from Dirty Dancing! So happy for these two to be saying “I do” at the Temecula Creek Inn wedding venue. It is always a blast working at Stone House at Temecula Creek Inn. Please enjoy some of our favorites from this session.

Leoness Cellars Winery Engagement Session

If you haven’t visited Temecula Wine Country you need to. The stunning beauty commands your attention and of course the wine isn’t bad either. With so many beautiful places to get married in Temecula, Leoness Cellars is one of our favorites! This winery was recently updated and added a wonderful restaurant which is a MUST if you’re in the area. The stunning ceremony site overlooks the vineyard and is the perfect location to say “I do”. Since we clearly love this venue we were super excited to have the opportunity to photograph this couple’s engagement session at Leoness Cellars Winery. When you have AMAZING couples to work with life is so much more fun! These two were a blast….we had lots of laughs and cuddly moments surrounded by the luscious grapevines which made my job much easier. We truly cannot wait for these two to have their Leoness Cellars Winery Wedding in Temecula in November 2019!! Please check out some of our favorites below from this engagement session.

Irvine Regional Park Engagement Photos

This fabulous couple chose the woodland landscape of Irvine Regional Park for their engagement session. The collapsed trees throughout this park was the perfect backdrop for this couple’s love. Engagement sessions are so fundamental when working with your wedding photographer. It really sets your entire wedding day up for success. When you have already worked with your wedding photographer at your engagement session a feeling of ease and trust on the day of the wedding with your photographers work is important. We are so excited to photograph this beautiful couple’s wedding at Europa Village in Temecula. Congratulations you two! We can’t wait to be your Temecula wedding photographers!

Thomas F Riley Wilderness Park - Engagement Session

The love they show for each other is insurmountable. This engagement session took place at one of our favorite locations Thomas F Riley Wilderness Park in Orange County. This location has so much beauty from the lush forest feel, to the stunning brush hills that drape to make stunning landscape photos. We had so much fun with this couple and loved that we had the opportunity to photograph their love. Wedding photography is our favorite but the day is even better when we have already worked with our couples. Its such a good feeling to build a relationship with your bride and groom as their wedding photographer before their wedding day. Congratulations on tying the knot you two!

Treasure Island Park - Laguna Beach - Engagement Session

Photographing couples in their favorite locations with all of that love and emotion is truly the best. Treasure Island Park in Laguna Beach is one of our favorite engagement session spots. We are totally in love with the whole scene from the stunning waves to the rock landscapes that form the perfect tunnel for our couples to stand under, we just can’t get enough of this gorgeous spot. 

This couple holds a special spot in my heart. This beautiful bride’s mom is my AMAZING hairstylist! I always consider it the ultimate compliment when family friends consider us to be their wedding photographers. We had so much fun and to many laughs photographing these two. We can’t wait for these two to get married in March at Coto Valley Country Club!
